The hilly side of the region gives a fruity and spicy extra virgin olive oil, where as the coast side of the region offers a sweet one. The pedoclimatic conditions, the diverse variety and the olive mill traditions result in a high quality olive oil with an International recognition. The most wide spread variety are Lecino, and Frantoio which in variable proportions with Carboncella, Sargano, Tenera Ascolana obviously and Piantone di Falerone create every time diverse and unique aromas and tones. |
